Cliff call
Coastguards went to the aid of a 43-year-old holidaymaker who suffered an attack of vertigo while out walking at Lydstep Head on Wednesday. The man, who was from Gloucester, became stuck 15 feet from the top of a 100-foot cliff at approximately 10.30 am.
Fishy call!
Firefighters from Whitland attended a property at the Old Mill Flats, Llanboidy, shortly before 10 pm on Saturday night, following a report of a water leak. However, on arrival, the brigade discovered that the water was, in fact, coming from a fish tank.
Flat buglary
A burglary occurred at a ground floor flat in Weston Terrace, Tenby, during the early hours of Saturday morning. A Sony handycam digital camcorder and a man's black leather wallet were stolen during the burglary, which occurred sometime between 1.30 and 5 am. Anyone with any information is asked to contact WPC1018 Kelly at Tenby police station on 842303.
Credit card stolen
A NatWest Switchcard, stolen from a handbag in Tenby's Three Mariners public house last Thursday, was subsequently used in the Tenby area to obtain £150. Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact PC552 John at the town's police station on 842303.
