Information sought

Police are appealing for information after damage was caused to two parked and unattended motor vehicles at Castle Hill, Tenby. Both vehicles were scratched with an unknown implement sometime between 5 pm on September 21 and 9 am the following morning. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the town's police station on 842303.

Bike stolen

Police are investigating the theft of a mountain bike from a property in Amroth. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Tenby police station on 842303.

Furniture dumped

Concern has been expressed this week that members of the public are breaking bye-laws by dumping household furniture at Narberth's Town Moor. County councillor Wynne Evans contacted the police on Tuesday after a sofa and armchair were left at the play area. "The police would like to hear from anyone who saw the furniture being dumped," said Clr. Evans, when he contacted the Observer about the matter.

One-vehicle accident

Firefighters from Narberth and the brigade's emergency tender from Haverfordwest attended a one-vehicle accident on the A477 near Oakwood yesterday (Thursday) morning at approximately 9.30 am.

Penally fire

Two hose reel jets were used by firefighters from Tenby to extinguish a large quantity of hedgerow and bracken that was on fire in a field next to Penally School at approximately 7.45 pm on Wednesday evening.

Handbag stolen from car

A handbag has been stolen from a green Vauxhall Vectra car parked outside The Old Toll House, Redberth. The theft occurred sometime between 8 and 11 pm last Wednesday evening. As a result of the theft, a NatWest switch card, which had been in the bag, was used at the ATM at the Co-op Store in Pembroke Dock and £450 was withdrawn.
