Penally search

Local coastguards assisted police last Friday morning in searching for a missing 19-year-old man after he failed to return after a night out.

But, the man, who was staying at Penally Training Camp, was found safe and well along Penally Bypass by one of the coastguards who was responding to the shout shortly after 7 am.

Known to be a diabetic, the man was returned to the camp where his blood sugar levels were checked out by coastguard team member and paramedic, Mike Tebbutt, before he was left in the care of the camp medical staff.

Dinghy taken

A four person plastic dinghy has been taken from outside a holiday let on Penniless Cove Hill at Tenby Harbour.

The red, white and blue dinghy was stolen sometime last Tuesday night, August 12.

Wellies stolen

Two pairs of daisy wellies, which had just been bought in Woolworths were stolen from Shoe Zone in High Street, Tenby, on Tuesday afternoon.

Man arrested

As the result of a stop check on the A477 road in the Llanteg area on Tuesday evening, a man from Cumbria was arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs.

He was subsequently charged by police with the alleged offence.
