Coffee morning: Next Friday, March 22 (10 am - 12 noon) there will be a coffee morning at the hall. Funds are for the hall to allow hire charges to remain at the current low level. Tickets are available from committee members.
Job Club: Job Club is held on the second Wednesday of the month from 2 to 4 pm. Open to all, it is free and informal. There is also free use of computers and the internet to create and access your Universal Job Match account. Job vacancies in the immediate area are posted weekly on the Job Club notice board and Workways officers attend to give advice and support. Debt and Benefit Advice Surgery: Are you getting what you are entitled to? Do you need help with money matters? A Carmarthenshire County Council office can give you 100 per cent free, impartial and confidential advice on how to manage debt, budgeting, benefit claims, getting back to work, volunteering, entitlement checks and changes to the benefits system in the forthcoming months. Bump to Baby: Weekly group for mothers and babies, from pregnancy to babies nine-months-old. 1st Whitland Rainbows: Rainbows is the Girl Guiding section for girls aged five to seven. It follows the Rainbow Jigsaw programme, which involves a wide range of activities and games. It is all about learning, developing self-confidence, building friendships and, having lots of fun! Computer classes: Would you like to speak for free with friends and relatives who live far away or even abroad? These are just some of the many things you can learn during the computer classes in the Whitland Memorial Hall on Thursday afternoons.
