Year 3
Year 3's Christmas production entitled 'Who?' is a tale of two time travellers, Dr. When and Dr. What. Their mission? To find the true meaning of Christmas. They visit a Christmas store, with Santa and his helpers in residence, a Cinderella pantomime, where they are treated to the splendour of the ball scene, a cracker factory, where they hear some terrible jokes, and a turkey farm where they meet a gaggle of dancing turkeys. Eventually, they travel even further back in time to discover a baby, where the true meaning of Christmas becomes clear. All the children performed magnificently, singing to the catchy music and delighting the audience with their enthusiasm. Many thanks to parents for providing the fantastic costumes.
Year 4
The budding young thespians in Year 4 at Tenby Junior Community School have recently performed a superb version of 'Creepy, Crawly Christmas' for parents and friends.
The audience was delighted by the amazingly colourful costumes, excellent acting skills and wonderful singing.
The play told the story of Wilfred, the hopeless caterpillar who was the butt of his classmates' jokes. His quest was to replace the star which had fallen from the sky so that the nativity play could go ahead as planned.
This allowed the true story of the miracle of Christmas to be retold.
In true pantomime tradition, there was a very happy ending and the hero succeeded brilliantly in his task.
Many thanks are due to the children for their hard work and to their families for supplying such fantastic costumes.
Year 5
The Year 5's Christmas production was 'What does Christmas Mean to You'. The children produced an excellent musical with songs and scenes that made the audience laugh out loud as well as reflecting on the deeper meaning behind all of the sparkle and fun. A big thank you to all who contributed to making the show a great success.
Dosbarth Cymraeg
Dosbarth Cymraeg performed 'Bwletin Bethlehem' (Bethlehem Bulletin). This told the traditional story of the nativity through the eyes of Sara Mari, a news reporter, ably assisted by a cast of characters which included Bethlehem hoteliers, Eddy and Emma, an Elvis-inspired Herod and his backing group the Herodets, Herod's management team and three farmers unfazed by all the events taking place in Bethlehem!
