Congratulations to Tenby Junior School pupils who represented their county and school in the Urdd Swimming Gala held at the national swimming pool in Swansea on Saturday, January 27. Bethan Davie, Hannah Saunders and Madison Vickery all competed in individual events, won their heats and then each of them went on to win a gold medal in their respective races. The girls Madison Vickery, Hannah Saunders, Molly Spencer, Lydia Dilks and Kathryn Warlow, Years 3 and 4 freestyle and medley relay teams, won gold medals in both events, while Bethan Davie, Jade Thomas, Casie Paxton and Lara Thomas, Years 5 and 6 freestyle and medley teams, won silver in their races. The boys Dan Hawkey, Oliver Parsons, Dylan Rees and Daniel Evans came sixth overall, moving up 10 positions. A special thank you to all the parents who supported the swimmers and sat for hours; their support and help was really appreciated.

On Tuesday, Tenby Junior School held a special science day. Pictured are pupils from Year 5 participating in their lesson.
