Pupils at Tenby Junior Community School have been working hard all week, not only at their lessons at school, but also helping at home!
At the start of the week, Mrs. Llewellyn, headteacher, gave all the children a challenge to 'Do a good deed for Children in Need'.
Pupils in Mrs. Wainwright's class decorated the 'good deed bucket' and throughout the week, pupils have been dropping in their envelopes containing money with the jobs completed clearly written on the front of each envelope.
Pupils also paid a fee of 50p to have a non-uniform day.

NETBALL
A team netball v Hakin, November 9 (by Victoria Brace, Year 6):
We played a match against Hakin and we won 3-1. All the goals were scored in the first-half. Sophie Rees scored two and Luke Chiffi scored one. It was great.
Everyone played very well, especially as it was the first match some of us had played in.
Jessica Ryder was goalkeeper, Victoria Brace was wing-defence, Lucy May was centre, Sophie John was wing-attack, Sophie Rees was goal-shooter, Luke Chiffi was goal-attack, and Emily England was goal-defence.
B team netball v Hakin November 9 (by Chantelle Johnson, Year 6):
It was Friday, November 9, and Hakin came to our school to play a fair game of netball. While the A team were playing, we all made friends and we got along fine. When it was our go we were all very nervous until we swept onto the pitch where the match began.
Robyn took the first centre-pass and Chantelle received well. The next pass made was to Daniel who shot, but missed slightly, but Chantelle caught it and made a well-earned goal.
This carried on for four times until one of the girls from Hakin swooped in and left us with shocked faces.
Unlucky for them they missed their chance and the ball was in our possession again.
The half-time score was Hakin 0 Tenby 8.
Continuing from the previous score, our hopes were high in the second half. We were winning. This half wasn't as exciting as the first. The goals took time and the players were tired, but we still managed to score another six goals.
Hakin were disappointed, but did not show it. They have very good sportsmanship and we hope we will meet them again some day. They are one of the best teams I know!
The final result was Hakin 0 Tenby 14.
Can I just say a big thank you to the Hakin team and the Tenby B who were Robyn (C), Daniel (GS), Luci (WA), Chantelle (GA), Penny (GD), Heather and Jack (GK), Holly (WD), Gizelle (half-time WA), and Chris (half-time WD).
Urdd netball, November 12 (by Sophie John):
On November 12, the school's netball team travelled to Pembroke Leisure Centre to play in a tournament against lots of other schools in the area.
The school we played first was Hakin. It was quite an easy match, but sometimes they were good. Hakin had a good goal in the first-half, but not as good as ours.
Chantell passed to me, I passed to Sophie, Sophie passed to Luke, and Luke scored. The end result was 2-1 to us.
The second match was against Orielton. They were very tough. They were throwing the ball over our heads so we couldn't get it.
In the first-half they scored two. We were in big trouble.
Just before half-time, Chantell broke her nail.
In the second-half, Orielton scored again, but we still didn't give up.
The score at the end was 3-1 to Orielton.
FOOTBALL
A team football v Hakin, November 9 (by William Hughes, Year 6).
It was our first game of the season, a friendly against Hakin School who were unbeaten so far this season.
Hakin, having won the toss, decided to play down the slope of our pitch, obviously hoping to get an advantage and gain a first-half lead, but it didn't quite work out for them because of Toby's trusty left foot, which gave us a 1-0 lead.
Minutes later, Toby struck again after good passing by the whole team. Hakin fought well after their set-back and we allowed them a soft goal.
In the second-half we had the advantage of the slope, but my bad back pass to Henry didn't reach and they scored another soft goal.
Straight from kick-off, Keifer passed it back to Toby who scored from his own half for his hat-trick leaving Hakin stunned.
After a good performance from the whole team, the final score was Tenby A 3 Hakin 2.
Tenby A fielded: Henry Lawrence, William Hughes (capt.), Lloyd Thomas, Rhys Winter, Toby Smith, Chris Heesom and Keifer Thompson.
