Since our last report, the 2008 Club Championships have been held, and the presentation of awards has been made at the annual Christmas Party.

Competition Results

Our Club Championships were held on December 4 and 7, and we are very pleased to report that 72 of our swimmers entered at least one event. This is a pretty good effort, and the numbers would have been higher had several of swimmers not had to withdraw at the last minute due to illness.

A large number of the entrants went home with a medal, so we can't report the full details here. However, many congratulations to all of you who took part. Full results have been posted on the notice board. Congratulations to the 14 overall age group category winners who were:

7 yrs boys - Kieran Johnson; 7 years girls - Madison Neye; 8 yrs boys - Ben Rees; 8 yrs girls - Carys Davies; 9 yrs boys - Billy Truman; 9 yrs girls - Ffion Davies; 10 yrs boys - Daniel Davies; 10 yrs girls - Hannah Saunders; 11 yrs boys - James Taylor; 11 yrs girls - Niamh Slack; 12-13 yrs boys - Sam Lewis; 12-13 yrs girls - Bethan Davie; 14 and over boys - Johnnie Delahunty; 14 and over girls - Coral Lewis.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who were able to help out on the two days.
