RED NOSE DAY

On March 14, Tavernspite School had a Red Nose Day. We raised £501.60 by having competitions, jokes, talent shows and much, much more. When we did the talent show, Stuart White, one of the pupils, fell in love with a teddy bear and serenaded her. The staff even performed in our talent show. In the morning the junior classes wrote poems and the winner was Rachel Allan. We did another competition which was called the wordsearch, and Ysobelle won. Also Jamie did a quiz, it's fab!

RUGBY TOURNAMENT

On March 19, we went to Milford Haven to play a rugby tournament. The first match we lost against St. Aidans 7-0. The second match was lost against Llangwm 7-0 in sudden death.

CLASS 5 TRIP

On March 20, Class 5 went to Narberth. We went around in separate groups to ask questions about Narberth High Street being pedestrianised. Our answers were very different compared with other groups. We had lots of fun interviewing the shops. Thank you for letting us interview you.

NEW BUILDING

Hopefully, Class 5 and Class 4 will be in their new classroom by next week. We're so excited to move in to our new class. By the time you read this we will be settled in our new room.

TIR A MOR

Tavernspite have been given the Tir a Mor award for their lovely work on the environment. In the future, the school hopes to take part in the Tir a Mor woodland project. Today was also an important day because Shani Lawrence (garden designer) visited our school to talk about ideas for developing the school grounds.
