Amy McGregor, Sarah Davies, Hari-Llyw Truman and Niamh Slack took part in the Pembrokeshire Chevron Primary Schools Music Festival Woodwind Competition on April 26. All pupils played beautifully and Sarah Davies was declared first, being followed second by Hari-Llyw and third by Niamh.

SWIMMING ACHIEVEMENTS

St. Teilo's girls team, Sarah Davies, Niamh Slack, Hari-Llyw Truman and Safiya Rooney came second at the recent Sladen Relays. While boys team Ben Rees, Miles Johnson, Nico Fecci and Billy Truman performed admirably. Well done to them all! Sam Foley achieved his Padi Scuba Diver Bubble Maker Certificate, while Madison Neye achieved Level 7, Mia Foley Level 5 and Neve Griffiths Level 3 swimming awards.

FOOTBALL NEWS

The popular half-term football school run by Mrs. Nicholls at the Tenby Leisure Centre was a great success again. Eager footballers from local infant and junior schools honed their skills and had great fun too. Ben Rees and James Crowney-Richards are shown displaying their medals, while Thomas Lees won a football for his good behaviour! St Teilo's footballers have done their school proud this month yet again. Holly Furlong has played for the county against Ceredigion, Lloyd Hughes played for Pembrokeshire in the Welsh Schools Football Finals held in Aberdare, and the school football team played in the finals of the Ollie Morgan Memorial Shield at Bridge Meadow on April 12. Jade Rowell, Safiya Rooney, Chloe Wilson, Gabriella Fecci, Holly Furlong and Ella Furlong, as part of Tenby's girls Under 11s football team, came third in the Pembrokeshire League. But St Teilo's soccer players' achievements don't end there. St. Teilo's, who were the winners of the finals of the under 11s Community Cup covering the South and West Wales Region, represented Swansea City in the South of England Regional Tournament at Leyton Orient in London! Team players were Tyler Wherrett, Hari-Llyw Truman, Billy Truman, George Taylor, Connor Ennis, Holly Furlong and Lloyd Hughes. Their powerful performance to represent Swansea City saw them lose only to Ynsymaerdy 1-2 (George 1), beating Penyrhent 2-1 (Lloyd 2), Penygaer 2-1 (Holly 1, George 1), St Helens 2-0 (Lloyd 1, Holly 1), Tenby Juniors 2-1 (Holly 2) in the final. At Leyton Orient, they were pipped to the semi- final by Millwall's five points to St. Teilo's four points. During the first round, they lost to Luton 3 -0, drew with Millwall 0-0, lost to Swindon 1-0 and beat Leyton Orient 1-0. Well done to all who took part!
