At the UKA Dance Competition at Chepstow on May 4, where Pembrokeshire, Chepstow, Blackpool and Twickenham clubs took part, Thomas Alman was a finalist in five events and the winner of another. Sarah Davies took fifth place in the Silver/Gold Disco section, while Amy McGregor achieved first place in Disco, fourth place in Modern Sequence and fifth place in Latin in the Bronze Disco section. What a performance!

Recently, Certificates of Merit have been awarded to the following pupils in recognition of their diligence, hard work, conscientiousness and achievement: Early Years: Harry Thomas - being helpful all week; Charlie Gregory - for the brilliant colours he chose to paint his pig; Charlie Gregory - good directional work on the smartboard; Harry McDonald - lovely painting of a pig. Class 1: Talia Ennis - being an enthusiastic reader; Brooke Griffiths - excellent reading skills; William Tooth -improved writing skills; Talia Ennis -completing her work to a good standard. Class 2: Lily Murray Coller - biggest improvement and Easter holiday story; Stephanie Thomas - for her lovely postcard work; Elliott Wherrett - excellent spellings; Thomas Leighs - outstanding effort this week. Class 3: Kezia Scaife - high standard of work in RE; Dylan Bolton - working so well in DT; Emily Perrin - effort in mathematics; Aron Thomas - working very hard at mathematics. Class 4: Nadine Allen - playing well in football and an amazing picture of Tenby harbour; Connor Ennis - playing well in the recent football tournament; Kevin Benny - excellent history research; George Taylor - most improved cyclist.
