Class 4 River Sampling Field Trip
Years 3 and 4 travelled to Brandy Brook, Newgale, where they met up with the Field Studies Council and took part in various activities along and in the river. The project was coordinated by Darwin Science and sponsored by Dragon LNG, Waterston. All the pupils had great fun taking part and over the course of the morning got very wet!
English Transition Project
Mr. Dave Ainsworth visited Class 4 recently in conjunction with the Tenby Family of Schools English Transition Project. He spent the whole day working with the children, planning and filming short sketches, which will then be presented to parents and children in June.
Class 4 - Carew 500
Years 5 and 6 took part in the Carew 500 celebrations at Carew Castle. They enjoyed many activities, including archery, storytelling, learning about medieval instruments and their origins, knights, armour and jousting.
Swimming Competition
Edward James and Lewis Bridle were members of the winning swimming team, Tenby Dolphins, who won the Barry Llewelyn Sports, Pembrokeshire County Council, Team Trophy recently.
Easter Egg Raffle
Before the end of the spring term, an Easter egg raffle which was held and drawn during assembly. Easter eggs were very kindly donated by parents and there was an amazing total of 92 eggs to raffle. Thank you to all who donated.
