World Book Day: St. Oswalds VA School, Jeffreyston, celebrated World Book Day on Monday, March 11.
This was the only day that all pupils and staff could share this experience together.
Pupils were invited to dress-up as their favourite character from a book.
The children are also supporting Book Aid International which donates second-hand books to developing countries where they don't have nearly enough.
A book raffle has been continuing all week, with children buying raffle tickets to win one of the 20 book prizes. Thanks go to the parents for donating the prizes.
Fotball: On Friday, March 8, St. Oswalds VA School football team played their first match wearing their new kit. This was very generously donated by Dr. and Mrs. Davies. Unfortunately, the team lost 2-1 to Haverfordwest VC in the second round of the KO Cup. The B team lost 1-0.
