The school council carry out spot checks on pupils lunch boxes to see whose is the healthiest and to try to encourage healthy eating. The children who have the healthiest lunch boxes then receive certificates
Phil Carradice
Well-known author, Phil Carradice recently visited school to work with the children. He spent time in all the classes, reading poems and talking about the numerous books he has written for both children and adults. The older children then took part in a workshop, writing their own poems using their imagination, while the younger ones drew pictures to illustrate their thoughts.
Rugby Presentation Night
At a recent presentation night, the following St. Oswald's pupils who are members of Tenby Swifts received their medals. Oliver Wheeler and Charlie Fry (who also jointly won the 100 per cent attendance award in their age group), Morgan Grieve, Billy Kinnear, Morgan Sparey, Jack Tucker, Tom Kinnear and Jacob Knox.
Jacob Knox also recently received his county cricket cap for the Under 11s.
Broad Haven trip
On Thursday of last week, Years 5 and 6 travelled to Broad Haven South to meet up with members of the Darwin Centre Team from Pembrokeshire College and local Geologist Sid Howells.
They were carrying out a field study of the area, in particular looking at evidence of the past climate changes in rocks and sediment in Pembrokeshire.

Morfa Bay Trip
Year 6 pupils have spent four days at Morfa Bay Adventure Centre in Pendine. The children enjoyed taking part in a wide variety of activities, including body boarding, caving mountain biking, abseiling, zip wire, climbing wall, high ropes, archery, assault course, orienteering. On the final evening, they enjoyed a disco, together with the other three school who were also there.
Certificates of Attendance
At the end of the spring term, pupils from each class who achieved the highest attendance were awarded a certificate.
Bible Gardens
Children and parents have been working hard to develop the Bible Gardens. Each class has its own garden area and each area depicts a different biblical theme.
Class 2 scarecrows
Class 2 have been very busy making scarecrows for the raised beds in the school garden.
End of term assembly
During the end of spring term, assembly Years 5 and 6 performed a musical item using various instruments called 'Cats and Mice'.
