Urdd trip to Cardiff
Pupils who are members of the Urdd from Years 4, 5 and 6 visited Cardiff before half-term. During their stay, they had a tour of the Millennium Stadium, visited the Cardiff Museum, Techniquest, The Senedd Building, Dr. Who Exhibition, and also went bowling, went to the cinema and took part in various activities at the Urdd centre. On the way to Cardiff, they visited the Swansea Maritime Museum.
Maths Magic
Careers Wales provided a very enjoyable afternoon of maths activities recently. Class 4 had great fun taking part in the activities at East Williamston Village Hall. Similar events took place at various venues around the county.

A service of Confirmation took place at Jeffreyston Church recently. Some members of the community, together with a number of pupils from school were confirmed. The service was officiated by Bishop Wyn and followed by refreshments in the village hall.
Fairtrade Visit
Last Friday, Mr. Urack visited school with Bella, a Fairtrade farmer from the Dominican Republic. She spoke to the children about all aspects of Fairtrade and the importance of buying Fairtrade products.
Healthy Eating Certificates
Children were presented with their Healthy Eating Certificates during assembly which were awarded by the School Council. Members of the School Council did spot checks on packed lunches and those children whose lunch boxes were the healthiest were awarded a certificate.
