Years 5 and 6 spent a day at Freshwater East with National Park warden Jill Simpson. In the morning, they carried out a detailed study of the sand dunes, including how and why they move, and they also looked at the animals that live there and why. In the afternoon, they had great fun collecting items from the beach and then they produced a piece of beach art using what they had collected.

Class 4 received a visit from the Boomerang shop in Milford Haven which specialises in the sale of items made from recycled materials. The variety of things which can be made from the most unusual things was amazing, so much so that the children have entered a competition, to make something made from at least four recycled items. The entries will be judged by Boomerang and there is a possibility that the winning item could then be made and sold in the shop!
Classes 1 and 2 recently took part in a swimming gala at Tenby Leisure Centre. They are pictured with their certificates, together with their certificates from sports day, which also took place recently.
