Winners were: Amy Deverson - school vocal award; Amy Rolinson - Attwell award for most improved string player; Lucy Lloyd - Katy Thomas award for most promising musician; Jessica Wainwright - Daniel Brewer brass award; Chloe Thomas and Maya Dodkins - Hebron Baptist Church award for most promising beginner; Emily Waters - Nina and Saskia Parker award for most improved woodwind player; Kate and Lauren Williams - Angharad Thomas award for service to school music; Tom Prestwich, Harriet Attwell and Rebecca Griffiths - commitment to school music; Jodie Jenkins - most improved cello player; Ellie Wainwright - commitment to school, area and county music groups; String Quintet - Mary Griffiths award for loyalty and commitment to music.

The school wishes to thank all the parents who have given donations of money and trophies. A thankyou also to the parants for their support during the school year.

URDD PERFORMERS

Members of Saundersfoot School performed in the Cerdd Dant category at this year's National Urdd Eisteddfodd held in Carmarthen. They included Ffion Davies, Kate and Lauren Williams, Gemma Strudley, Hannah Muskett, Emma Nock and Cerys Swales. The girls put on a really good performance, with the event's adjudicator stating that they only narrowly missed out on being staged for the finals. A big thankyou goes to all the parents for their support on the day.

SEVEN-A-SIDE SOCCER SUCCESS

Saundersfoot School's Year 2 football team recently came up trumps at the local seven-a-side football tournament held at Tenby Leisure Centre. The team were overall champions at the event, managing impressive wins over Tenby A and B, Sageston, St. Florence, and a draw with St. Teilo's. Seen with the trophy are team members - Harry Cook, Harri Williams, Ben Millward, William Swales, Neiron Guest, Ethan Price, Thomas Harding-Jones, Dominic Booth, Lewis Sarrionandia and Finlay Bowie. Thanks go to the parents for their huge vocal support during the tournament.

IMPRESSIVE DISPLAY
