Chair of governors at Sageston CP School, Mr. John Brock, recently took an assembly on the theme of the Olympic Games.
A child from each of the junior classes who has shown a caring and conscientious attitude this school year was chosen by their teacher.
They each won an Olympic medal.
Mr. Brock compared an Olympic medal to an even greater prize - winning a place in heaven.

The medal winners were Tia Harries (Class 2), Sharmaine Richards (Class 1) and Katie Ralph (Class 3).
