The following matters were discussed around the table at the most recent meeting of Manorbier Community Council.

Correspondence had been received from Pembrokeshire County Council advising that Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has agreed to fund the public toilets located at Manorbier Beach Car Park for two years.

An email was received regarding the removal of mole hills on the football pitch. It was agreed that the contractor be contacted to remove the troublesome moles.

The Clerk advised that an email has been sent to the installers of the play park advising that there are still several matters outstanding following the installation of the new play equipment, and that a site visit has been requested.

Jameston Play Park - the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant application has been approved in the sum of £14,097. Play equipment has been chosen; and installation completed. A site meeting has been requested.

Members were also asked to consider any actions to be taken regarding a gate which has been installed between a private dwelling and the public play park, as following a recent inspection of the play park, it was noted that a gateway has been installed, without the knowledge of the Community Council.

Following a lengthy discussion and consideration as to the safeguarding responsibilities of Manorbier Community Council a plan of action was proposed and seconded with all councillors in full agreement.
