Tree planters get rather damp!
Two Beavers, three Cubs, one Scout and Hawkeye (Group Scout Leader), joined with the Begelly Kilgetty Community Association members and planted a selection of trees in their garden in Kilgetty. The 30 trees consisted of 10 silver birch, 10 rowan, five cherries, three field maple and two hornbeam. They have been planted around a proposed seating area. The trees had been supplied by the Woodland Trust as part of the Scouting centenary celebrations. Although the planting did not take very long, the planters did get rather damp!
Bag Packing
The group will be bag packing at the Co-op on Saturday, December 22, all day. This is one of the main fund-raising events and thanks to the generosity of the shoppers and the Co-op, they can raise a lot of money for the group.
