News from Golden Grove School
Pupils had a school trip to visit the Celtic round houses at Castell Henllys last week, learning how people lived in those days.
Children from Golden Grove School dressed up in red white and green to celebrate Mr. Urdd being 90. Funds raised will go towards the 2013 Urdd Eisteddfod which is being held in Pembrokeshire.
Class 3 of Ysgol Gelli Aur/Golden Grove School last week celebrated the Chinese New Year by learning about the Chinese Dragon Dance. They wore authentic dragon headwear and played instruments to wake the dragon.
