Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Last week, Year Six of Tenby Junior School had families and friends entertained with a musical delight in the form of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The cast told the story of the triumph of young Charlie Bucket, who won the fifth golden ticket, and along with four other lucky winners, Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde and Mike Teevee, had the opportunity to visit the famous chocolate factory of Willy Wonka. The first half introduced everyone to the main characters and set the scene for the big visit in Act II to the factory. The second act had each child slowly disappearing from the stage through one 'silly' act after another, leaving Charlie at the end, the proud owner of the factory. The show, filled with wonderful songs, entertaining dancers and clowning Oompa Loompas, had the audience laughing and clapping and enjoying a wonderful performance by every Year Six child. A big thank you to Tenby Infants School for the loan of the hall, Chobbles Sweet Shop, Saundersfoot, for the loan of Willy Wonka memorabilia, Bruce Campbell for sound and lighting, Mrs. Mills and family for the scenery and to everyone involved in helping with this production; friends, parents and pupils.

Sport Relief

Last Friday afternoon, Tenby Junior School did their bit for Sport Relief and either ran, walked or skipped a mile around Greenhill School Field. With each year group starting at different points, pupils and staff, and some parents, successfully completed the mile in one way or another. Thank you to all those who took part and for donating to the charity
