MISS V. K. MORRIS

MR. A. J. T. POWELL

Married at Tenby on a sunny, summer's day, were Victoria Kate Morris and Alexander James Thomas Powell.

The bride is the second of four daughters to Rossalyn and Christopher Morris, of New Hedges. The groom is the eldest of three sons to Catherine Elizabeth and Michael J. Powell, of Newbridge, Gwent.

The Giltar Hotel was the elegant venue choice for the day and evening celebrations.

Given away by her father, Victoria appeared beautiful wearing her ivory white taffeta gown, its fitted bodice delicately pleated and rouched with perfectly set beading and pearls. The cream multi-petalled rose bouquet and the groom's cream tie complemented the theme.

Immediate family members witnessed the ceremony, with the registrars officiating in their relaxed and happy but professional, dignifed manner.

After the wedding dinner, other family members and friends joined the evening celebrations. A band played a range of dance music and a 'fancy dress photo booth' was a huge success.

Victoria is a senior staff nurse on the intensive care ward at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant. Alex is a qualified electrician by trade. He met Victoria soon after leaving the armed forces with the REME, setting his high standards of work.

June 25 is also the bride's birthday, so she enjoyed the double celebration. She also had great pleasure organising and arranging the wedding day - and it was wonderful!
