PICTURED is Tom Hill, of St. Clears, receiving a cheque for £2,500 from his cousin Andrew Belt, of Templeton. The money was raised by kind sponsorship from friends, family and local businesses for Andrew running the New York Marathon on November 5, and will be used to buy equipment for Whitemill Special Unit, Carmarthen, where Tom attends. Andrew was very pleased with his time of four hours 20 minutes, as it was his first marathon. He offers sincere thanks to all those who sponsored him.
