AS well as welcoming the year 2004 last Thursday, a Saundersfoot couple celebrated New Year's Day with the birth of a baby.
Just hours into the New Year, Susan James and Lee Bonnar, had a girl, Holly Elisabeth, at 1.47 am.
Little Holly was the first of five babies born at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, on January 1.
Other babies born were Molly, a daughter to Amanda McClaren and Tim Beynon, of Pembroke Dock, Brandon, a son for Jayne Parry and Marc Petrie, of Haverfordwest, and Miles, a son to Amy Gray, of Llangwm.
The last New Year's Day arrival made her entrance into the world with just two minutes to go to midnight. She was Branwen, a daughter for Bethan and Dylan Vaughan, of Tufton.
