Children of Lamphey School are able to enjoy the great outdoors, during lesson time, thanks to a new 'willow garden' .

The garden, partly funded by Chevron, Pembroke, features domes and also animal heads, Foxy Loxy and Billy badger, which help the children in role play.

So far, the garden has been used for storytelling; it also helps in the physical development of the children.

The pupils have also been involved in looking after and watering the willows, and they are fascinated watching the garden change and develop.

Phil Thompson, Chevron public affairs, recently visited the school to see the new willow garden for himself, and said: "W are pleased to be able to help in providing what is a fantastic new teaching resource for the school."
