A school football team which narrowly conceded defeat in last year's final of the Pembrokeshire Schools Plate Competition are feeling confident about winning this year thanks to a smart new strip paid for by oil giant, Murco.
The Stackpole VC School team, coached by Caryl Brace, has a number of competitions lined up this year and the new kit has given the players a big boost, says head, Jane Rees.
"We are just about to start the first round in the Pembrokeshire competition and it is lovely that the players have a smart new strip to go to the matches, it gives us all a boost,' she said.
The team, together with Caryl Brace and Jane Rees, are pictured in their new strip with Lucy Tallis, senior HR adviser at Murco's Milford Haven Refinery.
