AFTER a busy and successful year, president Don Ramsay, of the Rotary Club of Tenby, at his final official dinner, reviewed the year's many fund-raising efforts and the involvement of the club in local and national events.

The close working relationships with other local Rotary Clubs and charitable organisations within the town had continued, with everyone benefiting, and had resulted in many enjoyable social occasions.

He thanked all members for their support and energetic efforts during his presidency and was confident that the club was healthy, thriving and full of enthusiasm for the future. He then handed over the chain of office to the new incumbent, Steve Kelly.

The incoming president thanked his predecessor for the tremendous work he had put into the job and the superb example of dedication to Rotary principles he had set.

President Steve then introduced his team of officers for 2004/5, the Centenary Year of Rotary International, and assured everyone that their programme for the year, which would be revealed at the Club Assembly next month, would continue in the finest traditions of Rotary and be appropriate for the most important year in the history of the organisation during which the theme was 'Celebrate'.
