More than 40 Rotarians, partners, members of Inner Wheel and other friends were present at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland when president Graham Haddleton handed over his chain of office to incoming president, Rotarian John Sleigh.

Past president Graham thanked everyone for their help for his very successful year in office.

Graham's year was then recaptured by president John, who gave an excellent, amusing and comprehensive PowerPoint presentation of photographs and music from the many events held during president Graham's term in office. It was much appreciated by everyone present.

President John presented past president Graham with an album of photographs as a memento of the past year.

As the meeting was held on July 4, president John decided to have an American flavour to the evening and the staff at Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, served up an excellent menu of cajun chicken with apple pie.

President-elect for the coming year is Rotarian Robbie Burns and the junior vice-president is president Chris Sexton
