AT this week's 'handover' meeting of the Rotary Club of Tenby, outgoing president Stephen Williams presented the chain of office to Rotarian Dr. John Bowen, who is to be club president for the Rotary year ahead starting July 1. At the handover dinner, outgoing president Stephen gave an account of his year, which had proved to be another successful one for the club, thanked everyone for their support and wished incoming president John and his team all the best for the coming year. In return, incoming president John thanked Steve for all his efforts on behalf of the club which helped them support a significant number of local, national and international charities. At the club assembly next week, president John and his team of officers will outline their plans for the year ahead when the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion zone chairman, Rotarian Tony Park CBE, of Cardigan, will be the guest.
