Residents may have noticed that the slide and the springer have been removed from the old paddling pool play area in the Memorial Park, Pembroke Dock.

This is a step towards the installation of new pieces of equipment. This equipment should be installed by the end of July.

The Friends of the Memorial Park, with the sponsorship of Pembroke Dock Town Council, have been able to provide a climb and slide unit which includes a double width slide, binocular rail, ring climber, rotary puzzle panel, climb up ramp, three-seat rail, arch bridge and an access ladder. There will also be two swings for the very young children. A new safety surface will be installed.

All this equipment is aimed at the smaller children. The group hope that this will be enjoyed by many children and their families.
