People applying for planning permission within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park can now see for themselves what they should be aiming for. Park Authority planners have produced a colourful brochure packed with photographs showing the richness of the Park landscape.

The booklet outlines why the National Park is such a special place, and how buildings contribute to the character and qualities of a unique landscape. It stresses how Park planners are keen to work with applicants to promote high quality buildings that meet community needs.

The issue of climate change is covered, with an emphasis on the need for buildings to be eco- friendly and sustainable.

It also guides applicants through the various stages of the planning process and sets out the service standards that the Park planners seek to give all their customers.

Copies of the brochure are available from the Park headquarters and St. Davids, Newport and Tenby centres, as well as from public libraries in Pembrokeshire.
