Chairman Sam welcomed everyone to the August meeting and thanked president Jayne for hosting.

A warm welcome was extended to honouree member Linda, president Jayne and prospective members, Bethan, Sheena and Mel.

Since the last meeting, Sam had attended the two Round Table Summer Spectaculars and had also helped out with Circle members at the Tenby 10K, where squash was provided and given to those taking part.

Chairman Sam was delighted to induct and welcome new member Bethan Tebbutt into Tenby Ladies Circle.

An entertaining report was given by Charlotte on the Area handover lunch which recently took place, while Louise reported on the two Summer Spectaculars and dough-making evening.

Dinner secretary Charlotte informed members of the following dates for their diaries: November 22 - Christmas dinner; April 26, 2014 - Tenby Ladies Circle handover.

Area delegate Kirsty reminded members of the weekend away at Drayton Manor on September 28, for the National President's Ball.

The next Area meeting will be on September 21 at Tresordy and the Area project for this year will be Blood Bike Wales, which was proposed by Llwchwr Circle.

If any Circler has an idea for a social to be held in September for the Flame of Friendship, please contact chairman Sam.

President Jayne has reserved tickets for an evening with Sally Morgan at the Grand Theatre in Swansea on December 2.

Area chairman Kirsty was Sergeant in Arms and many fines were given out at the end of the meeting.

The Santa Fun Run will take place on December 15.

The next meeting will be held at the home of honouree member Jayne Colley on Thursday, September 12.
