PARK House Court Nursing Home is pleased to announce the appointment of Mandy Procter as Matron.

She becomes Matron on July 1, 2010, following the retirement of Elizabeth Hardcastle, the present Matron, at the end of June.

Forty-six-year-old Mandy has worked at Park House Court since November 1998. She joined as a staff nurse, and has pursued her career at Park House.

Following a sabbatical in New Zealand, she returned in February 2007 to be appointed director of nursing. She holds a BSc in 'clinical leadership' as well as a Diploma in 'palliative care'.

She looks at her new role with a sense of challenge, but looks forward to that challenge.
