Members of a Pembrokeshire football club will be strutting their stuff in a brand new kit shortly.

The Cleddau Warriors, who play in the South West Wales Disability League, have been presented with new team hooded tops by trade union, UNISON.

Liz Watkins, vice-chair of the Pembrokeshire UNISION branch, presented the youngsters with their new kit at the weekend.

The kit is based on a design created by the team's goalkeeper, Rhys Eynon.

The 19-year-old from Llandissilio is a student at Pembrokeshire College and one of the club's 30-plus members.

Angela Miles, disability sport development officer for Pembrokeshire County Council, said the team were very grateful for their new look.

"Cleddau Warriors will be travelling to Merthyr shortly to take part in the next round of the FAW disability football programme and are looking forward to arriving in their new kit," she said.
