Weighed down with guilt, burdened with wrong choices and actions? There is a way out.

When we make wrong choices someone gets hurt. Consequences are inevitable, but we can face our wrongs, admitting we need help.

King David made some selfish choices with brutal consequences. He stole another man's wife, and had her honourable husband killed. Despite this, God said about David:"I have found David a man after my own heart. He will do everything I want him to."

God can not be pleased with us until we are honest with Him. God sacrificed his son Jesus to free us from our wrongs, but it is our responsibility to face what we have done, say sorry to God and those we hurt, asking God to give us His strength to do the things He would like us to do. This is why God described David as a man after his own heart: David messed up, but he admitted his wrongs and said sorry; only then could he do everything God wanted him to.

God sees our potential despite our vices. He wants us to drop the false front and face reality. Because of Jesus we can be forgiven and freed from guilt, enabling us to and please God. If you need a way out, pray to God today.
