Maybe you think God is all about: 'Don't do this and don't do that'. You may be pleasantly surprised that, to a certain extent, this is true. God says: 'Do not be afraid, do not worry, do not be discouraged, do not let your hearts be troubled, do not give up...'
God loves you and paid a high price for your freedom: 'For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life' (John 3:16).
This act of pure love paid the price for our wrongs. When Jesus died on the cross he cried out: 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing' (Luke 23:34). Jesus cries out to us today. He longs for people to turn to him and receive his precious gift of perfect love.
