Jesus said: 'I am the way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the father except through me.' Jesus' words are alien to modern day thinking: If it makes you feel good, do it. Think of number one. Choose a faith that suits your mood.
With no absolutes, proclaiming The Truth is deemed too 'politically incorrect'.
Jesus' words should not lead to narrow-mindedness or prejudice; despising anyone who disagrees. They lead to love and freedom, teaching obedience and sacrifice; something the modern world recoils from with its 'buy now - pay later' mentality.
We believe in Jesus. We believe he is the only way to God. We love him and follow him. He gives us love, hope, purpose and direction. He also gives us discipline and correction. Polishing away our impurities. He's our living creator and faithful friend.
Will you choose to follow Jesus' 'controversial' truth or the world's wandering chaos? Please choose Jesus, don't live now and pay later.
