Saundersfoot Junior Girls Football Club, run by Saundersfoot Ladies FC, recently received a new kit from sponsor Phil Odley, of Dragon Mobile Catering.
The girls U12s and U14s teams can be seen wearing the kit in the pictures with Spencer Odley, managing director, and coach Emma Rowell.
The girls are currently competing in the Texaco Pembs. Junior Girls Football Leagues which take place on Sunday mornings at Bush Leisure Centre, Pembroke.
All the girls are doing exceptionally well in the league, especially when you consider that most of them only started playing football in September.
The U12s teams are both in the top half of their league and some of the other, more experienced, teams are finding it very hard to compete with these committed and determined girls.
The U14s are in a competition with the best junior teams in the county. All the teams have players who regularly attend the Pembs. FAW Centre of Development.
However, the Saundersfoot girls are no pushovers and have put on some brave and determined performances during the season.
All the girls would like to thank Phil Odley for his kind gesture and the parents for their commitment to bringing the girls to training and the matches every week.
Training times (all at Tenby Leisure Centre): U12s - 4-5 pm on Thursdays; U14s - 5-6 pm on Thursdays; Senior - 6-7 pm on Wednesdays.
