Do you have fond memories of buying records at Swales Music Shop, dances at the Drill Hall, or strolling along Scotchwells’ Walk in Haverfordwest?
Perhaps you might remember shopping at the Market Hall on Saturdays, going to the flicks at the old County Cinema, or meeting up with friends at ‘Conti’s’ in High Street.
If you’d like to share your memories of Haverfordwest in days gone by, then why not join a new social group called ‘Down Memory Lane’?
The group will meet monthly at Haverfordwest Library and Information Centre at Dew Street to share photographs and memories of the town.
Copies of photographs will be provided by Pembrokeshire Archives and Local Studies and you are also welcome to bring along any photos you may have.
Local books will also be available to browse through.
The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 9, at 2.30 pm.
If you would like to come, please ’phone Haverfordwest Library and Information Centre on 01437 775244 or email [email protected] to book a place.
