Pembroke 'Octopush' Club want to say a big 'thank you' to their sponsors, Jenkins and Davies Ltd., of Pembroke Dock, for the provision of their new underwater goals, and to Clayton Business Machines, of Narberth, for their generous donation. Pembroke club, who currently play at Pembroke Leisure Centre, have strong junior and senior membership and are going from strength to strength, so much so that a second set of goals have been needed to accommodate the busy children's sessions. This pair of three-metre goals have been especially made in two halves, thus making them easier for storage and transportation. Pembroke club are planning to form a second club at the new swimming pool currently being built at St. Thomas's Green in Haverfordwest. This will further development the sport in Pembrokeshire while also providing an opportunity for both local children and adults to experience this dynamic, if unusual, sport. Last year Pembroke's senior team won both gold for their division in the National Championships at Sheffield, as well as the Welsh Championships, a title which they intend retaining this coming April.
