NEW designer Cath Graham (pictured) recently graduated from West Wales School of the Arts with a BA hons in contemporary textile design.
She recently exhibited at the Business Design Centre, London, at the annual new designers show.
Specialising in digital print design and felted knits, Cath showed her collection at the design centre with much success.
Her collection, 'A Faded Summer', gained interest on the very first day when she had interest from the judges of one of the many surface pattern awards that new designers sponsors were giving.
"Although I was not sucessful in winning any of the awards, it was nice to know that I had been shortlisted," said Cath.
Two of her key passions are VW camper vans and designing bespoke weddings through her company, Make It Pretty.
Consequently, she was inspired to combine these two concepts and set out to design an interior collection for VW camper vans that embraced the happy, carefree sentiments of romance.
She spent months capturing different areas of the Pembrokeshire coast's horizons, and focusing on sun, sea, surf and palm trees.
Cath's new collection, 'A Faded Summer' is the launch of her new venture, 'Love Dub Fabrics'.
Cath also incorporated surfboard designs and is working with a local surfboard maker who is working her designs into boards.
On the last day of New Designers, Cath held a portfolio interview with a well-known store, who loved the concept of her print designs.
Cath said: "You never know, you may see see my designs on the High Street by the end of the year; I am hopeful."
