Peter Karrie's rescheduled Carmarthen concert is to take place tomorrow (Saturday) at the Lyric Theatre.
Peter, star of HTV's TV chat show 'Young at Heart' and the world's most popular Phantom, has now recovered from viral pneumonia which left him with no voice and severe breathing problems.
Full of enthusiasm, he returns to the Lyric Theatre, Carmarthen, for one night only with his new musicals extravaganza!
Peter Karrie is an international TV, radio and musical theatre performer and star of Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Chess, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. He is undoubtedly one of the world's top performers.
Accompanying Peter Karrie in his new musicals concert are the Welsh Concert Orchestra, with musical director John Quirk, two special guest soloists from London's West End and the amazing Intermezzo Choir.
Always keen to give children the opportunity of performing on stage, Peter has invited children of The Carmarthen Youth Operatic Society to share the experience with him. They will be singing numbers from Joseph's Technicolour Dreamcoat and Les Miserables.
Peter is looking forward to returning to Carmarthen.
"Liz Evans and her staff at the Lyric Theatre were fantastic in the way they dealt with all the ticket holders who turned up to my postponed concert; their professionalism was much appreciated, as was the help given by all the local media informing the audience of my illness.
"Anyone who has already bought a ticket will still be able to attend the show, and I understand there are a few tickets available for the new date. I do hate letting people down, so rest assured this rescheduled show will be fantastic; new material and powerful songs all performed at this very special theatre!"
Tickets available from the Lyric Theatre Box Office on 01267 232632.
