Silcox Coaches already operate super low floor vehicles on the 381 Haverfordwest - Narberth - Tenby service. They have recently purchased two more such vehicles to operate on the 356 Milford Haven - Pembroke Dock - Monkton service, to coincide with the introduction on April 1 of free local bus travel for the elderly and disabled. Super low floor vehicles are fitted with a ramp to allow access for wheelchair users. Welcoming the arrival of the new vehicles last week were L. W. Silcox (chairman), a pensioner himself; K. W. Silcox (managing director); T. V. Hay, one of Pembrokeshire's most senior councillors; rugby star Scott Quinnell, Llanelli, Wales and British Lions; and John Nicholas, of the Pembrokeshire Access Group.
