Silcox Coaches in Pembroke Dock, were delighted to unveil their new coach with its eyecatching livery last week. The coach is scheduled to hit the road at the start of February and its first major journey will soon follow with a trip to Austria, as part of the company's Winter Holiday programme. Built in Portugal by one of Europe's leading coach-builders, the Salvador Caetano Enigma, with a Volvo B12B Chassis incorporates a number of features, all designed with passenger comfort in mind. On board facilities include climate control air conditioning, DVD entertainment system, CD, radio and PA system, toilet, hot drinks servery and 49 reclining seats which all have three point seat belts. "The design of the livery coach is something of a break with tradition for Silcox Coaches, as it's totally different to anything we have had before,"explained tours manager, Tony Hopkins. "The change of colour and use of the new Silcox Coach Holidays livery, really makes the coach stand out and we're all delighted with the design and on board facilities," he added. Managing director, Keith Silcox, explained what the new coach was primarily going to be used for. "The new liveried coach will be used mostly for the holiday and day tour programme, as well as occasional private hire for local groups."
