Organisers of Tenby Winter Carnival on Saturday, December 4, are busy preparing for this year's event and have revealed new classes for entrants in the parade. Fancy dresses categories will be for children up to four years, five to 10 years, 11 years upwards, best couple under 14, best couple over 14, best group, and best decorated buggy, while there will be float sections for charity/organisation, business, school/college, or private. The organisers are also hoping that this year will see more floats taking part, as without them and the individual walkers there would be no carnival. The parade will take place at 6 pm, but throughout the day there will be a programme of fun, including a visit from Father Christmas. The organisers would also like to ask all last year's trophy winners to return their trophies to Rembrandts, and motorists not to park along the route of the parade.
