Carers in Pembrokeshire can now access a new handbook designed just for them.
The Carers' Handbook 2005 provides information on many issues of interest to carers, including where to find support, advice and guidance.
"This is a resource which carers have found very valuable in the past, and I am very pleased to welcome this revised edition," said Clr. David Wildman, cabinet member for the elderly and infirm.
The handbook has been produced by a multi- agency group comprising of carers, Pembrokeshire County Council, PAVS, and voluntary groups. It was launched on Carers' Rights' Day on Friday at Albany Hall in Haverfordwest.
The Carers Handbook is available free of charge for all carers in Pembrokeshire by contacting Pembrokeshire County Council's contact centre on 01437 764551.
