A new facility for adult learning has opened at Pembroke Dock. The Pembroke Dock Community Learning Centre was officially opened by the chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. Steve Watkins, last Friday. Formerly housed in the Victorian Coronation Centre, the new centre is now sited at the former Albion Square Primary School, which has been renovated and refurbished for its new role. "It's vital that people have access to continuous learning as it enriches their lives as well as their general health and well being," said Clr. Watkins at Friday's opening. "Learning Pembrokeshire is crucially important in delivering adult learning to people in Pembrokeshire. We provide around 700 courses a year to thousands of adults in over 70 locations across the county. "Pembroke Dock now has a fantastic new centre, which will prove to be an excellent facility for adult learning in the area."
