People in Tenby are invited to an evening event to agree the new community action plan for the town. Over the past year, several community workshops have been held, facilitated by PLANED, to develop the Action Plan.

The action plan includes proposals about how to improve the environment of the town; celebrate the area's heritage and how to achieve more partnership working.

"Many people have contributed to this action plan, but we want even more people to come and have their say about whether the action plan is the right way forward for Tenby," said Andrew Davies, town council clerk.

The event will be at the De Valence Pavilion on Monday, September 18, at 7.30 pm. This will give people a chance to make amendments to the plan before adopting it and to get involved in developing community projects. It is an opportunity for people to make new friends and make a positive contribution to the town you live in.

The invitation is open to anyone who lives or works in Tenby. Action plans and invitations have been posted out to residents in the town, and are available in the Leisure Centre, Community Education Centre, and the De Valence; alternatively contact PLANED on (01834) 862115.
