The Welsh Government Warm Homes Nest scheme has joined forces with Pembrokeshire County Council to provide free energy saving advice and support to local residents.
The Nest team is delivering a series of drop-in events in local libraries in Pembrokeshire. These include Tenby Library (Tuesday, September 6, 10 am - 1 pm), Saundersfoot Library (Tuesday, September 6, 2 - 3 pm) and Fishguard Library (Tuesday, September 13, 10 am - 1 pm).
The team will be offering a wide range of free support and advice to those who are struggling to heat their homes and worry about their energy bills.
In addition to advice, if you own or privately rent a home that is hard to heat and receive a means tested benefit, you may also be eligible for free home improvements from Nest. These may include a replacement boiler, central heating system or insulation.
Lee Parry, head of Nest, said: “I am pleased the Nest team are working in partnership with Pembrokeshire Council to offer free support and advice to local residents. Since the scheme started in 2011, Nest has provided free advice and support to over 85,000 households across Wales, with over 23,700 householders benefiting from free home improvements.”
Nest can be contacted on Freephone 0808 808 2244 or visit www.nestwales.org.uk for advice on reducing energy bills and to find out if you qualify for a package of home energy improvements.
